       When you’re faced with a big decision, do you go with your gut feeling, or do you thoroughly think out the right action to take? The emotions you feel have a big role in your decision-making processing, furthermore, have a significant impact on your mindset. Our emotions are interconnected with our thoughts, beliefs, and actions, and can shape how we perceive and interact with the world around us. As emotions dip into our perception, how we interpret meanings in certain events can alter any situation. For example, if you were feeling sad, you may interpret a situation more negatively than if you were feeling happy.        One's mindset can have a significant impact on their mental strength. Individuals can be present with either a fixed or a growth mindset. People with fixed mindsets believe their qualities, abilities, and intelligence are predetermined and cannot be changed. On the other hand, people with a growth mindset believe that they can improve and develop their qualities and abilities through effort and persistence. People with a growth mindset tend to be more resilient and better equipped to deal with challenges and setbacks. This determines the differences between individuals motivated to be better and those who are content where they are.      When I recollect mental adversity challenges that I have faced, the most notable and recent confrontation I have experienced is running a marathon. Mental adversity refers to the difficulties and challenges that individuals face in relation to their mental health and well-being. While running a marathon, you learn to run the race in your mind, battling only yourself to get to the finish line.
