Mental toughness is not a fixed trait
Mental strength is not necessarily something that someone is born with or without. While certain individuals may have a natural predisposition to resilience, mental strength can be developed and strengthened over time with effort and practice. Discipline carries a lot of weight, helping you make better decisions, and thus giving you the mental and emotional control to think things through carefully before acting. When you have discipline, you are also able to take pride in your accomplishments, making you more likely to feel good about yourself from the choices you make. Additionally, overcoming challenges and facing difficult experiences can also help to build mental strength. When individuals are faced with adversity, they have the opportunity to learn and grow from the experience. A real-world example of this faces our lives every day. From the challenge of getting out of bed every morning to brushing your teeth at night, no matter what you’re battling it’s the little things that will start to engrave upon you. mental strength is something that can be cultivated and improved through effort and dedication. This involves developing healthy coping mechanisms, learning to regulate emotions, and practicing self-reflection and introspection. In short, mental strength is not something that a person is either born with or without. It is a skill that can be learned and improved upon, allowing individuals to better handle life's challenges and achieve their goals.
